Hi¡
Welcome to "Dragones Blanquiazules"
(white-and-blue dragons) . This is a CD Tenerife
personal (that´s easy to see, isn´t it? :)) web page, and has been
created by a lonely and unexpert single student, although with the
spiritual and content-searching help of a group of Tenerife Fans. We are, mainly,
students away our preciouss island, Tenerife, and want to make this web a
point of meeting to all of those who live away from it (in addition to the
ones who live there, of course¡¡). But, as international (mostly
european) football lovers, we also want to became a link-place to others
clubs, and to get in contact with fans and football web pages all around
the world.

ANOTHER DRAW¡ Tenerife
drawed its second league match, this time at home against Oviedo.
However, the performance was quite different. Tenerife
controlled the whole match, with a 75% ball possesion, and created many
goal chances. During some phases, our team played a really great football,
while Oviedo
kept defending inside its own area. Despite of this, 4 minutes before the
end of the first half, a massive attack of Tenerife
ended with a ball lost, and the quick counterattack provided striker Oli
a one-on-one against Valerio and
scored. The second half was similar, but with a quite better play of Tenerife:
Ayoze, Jesús, Martí, Lexa and Barata
pressed Oviedo´s defense, and Barata
was able to score the 1-1. To the end, Tenerife
tried to get the victory, but Oviedo was able
to save the point. At least, the little public (8.000) finished quite
satisfied with the team, and provided and big applause at the end. All the

OUT OF THE CUP¡ Last
Wednesday Tenerife was sent out of the King´s Cup after the first round.
In the second year of One-Leg-System (so common in other countries as
England) in the firsts rounds, Tenerife was to play against Numancia. As
playing with a team of our same division, it was the first to be chosen
the one to play at home, so Tenerife had to travel to Soria to meet this
hard team. It was hard, indeed, and with a not very good midfield
performance and very little accuracy in the enemy area, Numancia just
waited for two defensive mistakes to score a 2-0 that was too hard to
recover (one goal at the beginning of each half). A ball to the post and a
couple of clear attacks was all Tenerife could claim for victory, very
litlle, althoug a 2-0 was clearly a too severe punishment considering
Numancia´s performance. Now, the team is waiting for tomorrow´s first
match at home, against one of the favourites, Oviedo. Our hopes of having
a good season begining (and selling many season-tickets) have much to do
with this match¡
